(preliminary) Front cover Analysis

Mast Head 
The mast head 'MATCH' is in big bold basic font this shows that its not to classy and is not aimed for the more upper class people. It is simple and suggest that it is aimed at the younger audience (age 10-15). With it been in bold capitals and having an explanation mark shows that its shouting out to its audience to buy this magazine  and grabbing the readers attention instantly.

Feature Article Photo
This photo is a photo of two well known stars in the football world  (Samuel Eto'o and Didier Drogba) this has been done to catch the reader attention has no one wants to read an article on a unknown person. It tells the reader that you need to buy this magazine to get the best information of the most famous footballers and that no other magazine can provide the same.

Price
The price on this front cover is pretty big for a price tag this is done to give the effect of that it is a great deal for what they are providing.

Main Cover Line
The main cover line 'the players ripping up world footy' is stating to the reader that there is stories about stars that are at there prime,The stars that everyone is talking about and what the audience want to know about.

Puff
The puff 'HOT STARS!' is  a emotive phrase that will attract the audience. Its shouting to them that there is alot of news about the top stars in the world of football and interesting stories which will blow your mind.

Plug
'MEGA FIFA 11 TIP POSTERS' this is used to convince the audience they are getting the best for there money by adding in free gifts because everyone likes free things and it makes them want to get it.

Bar code
the bar code is on the right side and is pretty big which is strange has they tend to be small and out of the way.

Target Audience
The target audience for this magazine would be male aged between  10-15 has it is simple to read and has plenty of images
